Mystery Crew: Concept Preview

Looking for a spooky adventure game that's more concept than complete? Look no further than Mystery Crew: Haunted Mansion! Sure, it may lack actual gameplay at the moment, but I've created the perfect playground for experimentation and style.

Trust me, I've experimented with all sorts of 2D camera sequences and even generated "Animalese"-like voices for the characters' dialogues. Plus, I discovered just how hard it is to manage 2D space compared to 3D in UE5 - talk about a challenge!

But back to the concept: join the Mystery Crew - Lucy, Max, Sam, and Amy - as they investigate the spooky disappearance of Dr. Oswald Green in a haunted mansion. The game starts with Lucy settling in for some nostalgia gaming, only to uncover a dark mystery.

While I may not have gameplay or sound effects yet, I'm working hard to make this game jam-worthy with puzzles, clues, and obstacles that'll keep you guessing. So come along for the ride and give me your feedback as I bring this spooky adventure to life!

Here's how to play:

To start the sequence, simply go near the NES game console in front of the TV and press "E" while looking at it. That's it! From there, you'll be ready to dive into the spooky mystery of Mystery Crew. (beware, a very shallow dive)

Contains a small jumpscare. Probably 30 seconds of cutscene/gameplay.
